Energy Balls

Grab your food processor, a big bag of organic, pitted dates, and get ready to roll!!

We are excited to share some of our favorite energy ball recipes! These are amazing to put in kids lunches, snack on for an afternoon pick-me-up, or pop in your mouth for a sweet treat at the end of the night.

The tricks to making perfect ‘balls’...

1) Use a food processor instead of a blender.. This seems to make for a better consistency and is easier to scoop from

2) Add water very slowly if the ‘dough’ needs to come together better - about 1 tbl. at a time.

3) Don’t worry about sticking exactly to a recipe. Most balls are made of a combination of dates, nuts, nut butter, and/or dried fruits, & spices… don’t be afraid to mix and match or try different combinations!

4) Always choose organic ingredients when possible! Even spices!

5) Store in the freezer.. This keeps them nice and chilled and compact! A perfect guilt-free, treat.
